Insecurity: Newly promoted AIG expresses regret over inability to destroy bandits’ hideout

The newly promoted Assistant Inspector General Of Police and Commissioner Of Police, Niger State, Adamu Usman, has expressed regrets over his inability to destroy the hideouts of bandits in the forests, who have been creating havoc in different parts of the state.

Assistant Inspector General Adamu Usman expressed this in an interview with journalists, shortly after a send forth ceremony, organized in his honour.

He said that the military is augmenting efforts to achieve the desired results.

Adamu Usman, explained that Niger State, where he served as Commissioner Of Police for two years, is being confronted with security challenges because of it’s large landmass.

Governor Abubakar Bello reiterated the commitment of his administration to continue to support and synergize with the security agencies to tackle the security challenges across the state.

Governor Abubakar Bello who spoke through his Commissioner For Local Government, Community Development and Chieftaincy Affairs, Abdul-Malik Sarkin Daji, said, Assistant Inspector General of Police Adamu Usman has helped in putting together, measures of fighting bandits and kidnappers, as well as criminal elements in the state.

The officers of the Niger State Command of the Nigeria Police described him as a leader who is passionate about his job.
