Niger President Mohammed Bazoum says government must change in tactics in addressing the issue of banditry going by the recent train attacks in Kaduna.
President Bazoum said this on Thursday while responding to questions from state house correspondents after a private meeting with president Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja.
President Bazoum commended the zamfara state governor, Bello Mattawale for his role in handling banditry issues in the boarder communities, the state shares with Niger, asking that the multinational joint task force be replicated across the region and pledged to support any joint task force funded by the Nigerian government to tackle banditry in both countries.
