The House of Representative Committee on Army has pledged to work with President Bola Tinubu to provide more funding to the Nigerian Army to boost security in country.
The deputy chairman, House committee on Army David Ogewu, made the house position known while in an oversight function at the headquarters of the Nigerian Army corp of Engineers, Nigerian Army School of Military Engineering (NASME) barracks in Makurdi,Benue State.
House committee on army led by its deputy chairman David Ogewu were at the Nigerian Army School of Military Engineering NASME on this oversight visit where they accessed some of its projects, facilities as well as equipment.
They were taken round the Army School of Military Engineering by its Commandant Adamu Audu
Earlier they were received at the Government house by the deputy Governor Sam Ode.
A command performance was later held in their honour by the State Government.
