The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Plateau State has condemned in strong terms recent killings in the state and calls on Christian’s to be vigilant and defend themselves when the need arises.
The Association made this known at a press briefing in Jos the state capital on the state of the nation.

Chairman of CAN Plateau State, Very Rev Father Polycarp Lubo, said it is high time Christians rose up to defend themselves as government at all levels can no longer guarantee the safety of lives and property.
Reverend Father Lubo also expressed worry at the statement credited to the state police command that the attack on the Dong community was a reprisal.
He challenged government to take charge and protect Nigerians who voted them to office.
