Insurgency: Troops Kill 37 terrorists in Nigeria’s North East Region

The Joint troops of Operation HADIN KAI in the North East have Killed more than thirty seven Boko Haram/ISWAP Terrorists.

A statement by the Director Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu stated that the Terrorists were killed by Air strike conducted by the Air component of Operation Hadin Kai, leading to the destruction of Guntrucks and Criminal Camps.

Similarly,In the South East, Troops conducting Exercise GOLDEN DAWN Sector 3 have foiled an attempt to kidnap Most Reverend Augustine Ukwuoma at the Orlu Diocesan Catholic Secretariat in Orlu, Imo State.

The troops in response to a distress call at about 2:30am on Sunday forced the assailants to abort the Criminal mission and take to their heels

Brigadier General Onyema notes that Troops will continue to frustrate members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra/Eastern Security Network (IPOB/ESN) and other criminal gangs operating within the region,especially as the elections in Anambra State draws closer.
