A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Zamfara State, Abdullahi Shinkafi, has described the call for the constitution of an Interim National Government after 2023 from some quarters, as an invitation to anarchy, constitutional crisis and political disorder in the country.
He was reacting to a statement credited to a legal luminary and one of the high profile citizens of Nigeria, Afe Babalola, calling for the Interim National Government, after President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure.
The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Zamfara State, Abdullahi Shinkafi, wants Nigerians to reject in totality, the call for an Interim National Government,
saying that anyone who is making that call, does not mean well for the country which he termed as an invitation to anarchy and political disorder.
The APC chieftain also called on President Muhammadu Buhari to tighten his belt, to address the prevailing security challenges, currently facing the country.
He observed that the attack on the Abuja-Kaduna bound train, was a situation that has never happened in the history of Nigeria, and there is a need to deploy modern technology, to combat insecurity.
The APC chieftain, Abdullahi Shinkafi, also went further to say that the N100 million cost of obtaining the Expression of Interest Forms for APC presidential aspirants, N50 million for governorship, and legislators 20 to 10 million, is too high and would scare away young people who can not afford it.
