The Nigerian Customs says it will continue to work tirelessly to improve on its services to Nigerians and beyond.
The Comptroller Of the Area Two Command Imam Baba stated this at Onne, Rivers State during the International Customs Day Celebration.
The Nigerian Customs joined its counterparts across the world to celebrate the International Customs Day in recognizing the role it plays in overseeing the import and export of goods all over the world.
Opening the ceremony, the Onne Customs Boss harped on the importance of working with stakeholders, partners and agents for efficient service delivery.
The Onne Customs public relations officer Lomba Benjamine Spoke on this year’s theme engaging traditional and new partners with the purpose of encapsulating the nature of customs operations in a dynamic landscape.
The International Customs Day Celebration was established in 1983 to celebrate all the custom officials and agencies that toil day and night to ensure effective world trade management.
