The Inter-Party Advisory Council ( IPAC) in Ondo state has faulted the call for redeployment of State Resident Electoral Commissioner(REC),Oluwatoyin Babalola ahead of the November 16 Governorship Election.

The Ondo State Chairman of IPAC, Olaoluwa Adesanya, while addressing journalists in Akure, the state capital on Wednesday said the body has confidence in the ability of Babalola in conducting a credible, fair and free governorship election in the state, adding that INEC under the leadership of Babalola had carried IPAC along in all the commission’s activities regarding the November poll.

IPAC said the alleged connivance of the state REC with any political party to subvert the election is false and can not be substantiated.

Some groups recently stormed INEC offices in Akure and Abuja protesting the alleged biased conduct of the Resident Electoral Commissioner
