Some residents in Umuahia, Abia State capital are beginning to express displeasure over the continued compliance to the Sit-at-Home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, in the state.
Recall that IPOB through its spokesperson Emma Powerful had suspended the order but due to fear, some residents are still apprehensive and have decided to stay at home every Monday to avoid being attacked by those suspected to be enforcing the order.




ait.live observed that every Monday Banks and few shops are still closed, while few commercial and private vehicles are seen on the road, especially in Aba the commercial nerve center of the state.

For the people, there should be other ways to pressurize
the federal government to release the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, instead of crumbling business activities in the area.
Recently, normalcy returned to Abia State,with full business activities in place,but after the rumours of unknown men forcing traders in Umuahia to close shops, about three weeks ago, some residents became apprehensive.
