The Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, has debunked rumors making the round that his government will abolished the tsangaya system of education in the state.
The governor debunked the allegations when he innaugurated the local organizing committee members of the national quranic recitation competition in Bauchi state north east Nigeria.
While innaugurating the over fifty man member committee for organizing what he described as a befitting and hitch free 36th edition of the national Qur’anic recitation competition, governor Bala Mohammed, used the occasion to debunked the rumors making the round that he will abolished the tsangaya system of education in Bauchi.
The governor said his administration is only against the streets begging and almajiris saying he is committed in ensuring tsangaya schools become fully functional and beneficial to the people.

The committee chairman and former grand khadi of Bauchi state, khadi Ibrahim Marafa commended the governor for finding them Worthy to serve in that capacity promising to be just and fair in the discharge of their assignment.
The 36th edition of the national Qur’anic recitation competition is scheduled to take place from 18th to march 26th making Bauchi to host for third time since the inception of the musabaqa in 1986.
