France and Juventus midfielder, Paul Pogba has been banned for four years for anti-doping violations.
The former Manchester United player was provisionally suspended by Italy’s national anti-doping tribunal in September 2023 after testing positive for Testosterone, a hormone which increases athletes endurance.
The test was performed after the Juventus’ August 20, 2023 Serie A opening day three nil win away at Udinese which Pogba was an unused substitute.
A counter analysis on a second sample in October 2023, returned positive.
The thirty year-old World cup winner has already decided to file an appeal through the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne.
Pogba returned to Juventus on a free transfer from Manchester United in 2022 but has only made 12 appearances with the Serie A giants in his second spell at the club.
