President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerian women journalists and others that his administration will do all it can to balance gender equality in all spheres, particularly in governance.

The Nigerian leader gave the assurance through his Special Adviser on School Feeding, Yetunde Adeniji at the Female Journalists Network Nigeria and the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) conference, to mark the 2024 International Women’s day in Abuja.

Addressing the gathering of hundreds of Nigerian female journalist on a three day conference, President Bola Tinubu said his administration is working to ensure that the rights of Nigerian women in work places, politics and others are fully protected to widen visible representations.

Other speakers were of the views that that the different unions, associations and groups working together in unity to loud Nigerian women’s voices, must be prioritised.

The 2024 event with the theme, “Together To Ensure Inclusivety: Loud Her Voice”, is aimed at inspiring others to understand women’s inclusion to forge relevance, sense of belonging, empowerment and a better world.
