2023 LP Presidential candidate, Peter Obi / 2023 ADC Presidential candidate, Dumebi Kachikwu

Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in the 2023 election, Peter Obi has called on Nigerian youths to remain positive and hopeful for the coming of a New Nigeria, which, he said, will be anchored on youth development and productivity.

Obi made this call in his message to mark this year’s International Youth Day, saying that the Future of Nigeria is anchored on Youth Development.

He advised the youths not to allow the current political and economic situations in the country to discourage them. The former Anambra State Governor who called on the youths to remain committed and resolute in the struggle for a new and better Nigeria, said that many of the country’s challenges will be overcome if the leaders paid attention to youth development and productivity.

Meanwhile, standard bearer of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in the 2O23 election, Dumebi Kachikwu has called on Nigerian youths to continue the fight for freedom and liberty, by consistently speaking against oppression and bad governance in the country. He made the call in a message of solidarity with Nigerian Youths on the 2023 International Youth Day.

While he assured them that young Nigerians will soon assume rightful position in the leadership of the country, Kachikwu advised the youths not to give up in their struggle.

He used the occasion to identify with the Youths and celebrate them for their tenacity in the face of “trial and error process of nation building”. In his words, “Born into a country with myriad complex problems, our youths have remained resolute and continue to defy all odds to make us proud.”

“Breaking through the stereotype of lazy youths, they continue to hoist our nation’s flag in far flung countries doing us proud and winning laurels for us. The Nigerian Youth with little or no support from government continues to chart a course in harnessing green skills and the potentials therein. They understand that therein lies the sustainability of our world.”
