Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has held a meeting. with heads of security agencies in the state with a view to restoring order in the wake of the disturbances arising from the hijack of #ENDSARS protests in the state.
Hoodlums had hijacked the #EndSARS protest in the state unleashing mayhem on residents, burning down over five police stations and releasing over one thousand inmates at two correctional facilities in the state capital, Benin

Present at the meeting were the Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu; Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie, as well as Commissioner of Nigeria Police, Officers from the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp, NSCDC, among others.
