The registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board JAMB, Professor Ishaq Oloyede has criticised the House of Representatives, for falsely accusing the Board of imposing multiple fees on candidates preparing for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME.
The House of Representatives had in its plenary session last week took a resolution to probe JAMB over alleged imposition of multiple fees on candidates, following a motion raised by Sergius Ogun, a House member from Edo state
But the JAMB Registrar who was responding to questions on the level of preparations for the UTME Mock fixed for Saturday April 9, said the lawmakers allegations are baseless and lacking facts.

ait.live gathered that the lawmakers had listed charges on printing of JAMB result slip at N1,000, printing of admission letter N1,000, change of institution or Course Choice at N2,500 and retrieving of registration number at N1,000 as areas it intends to probe in JAMB
Meanwhile, Oloyede has admitted to hike charges at computer based centres from N700 to N1,000, owing to prevailing increase in diesel price.
