Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) Machine Failed to Recognize Many Voters in the Ongoing Bye-Election.
The Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency Bye-Election Commenced at about 10am due to low turnout of voters particularly in Jos North local Government Area.
At 027 Polling boot of Ibrahim Katsina and other Wards Visited in Jos North North Constituency, accreditation and voting is ongoing.
AIT observed that the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System deployed by INEC for the exercise is being used in almost all the Places Visited.
However, in Jos North West Constituency, the BVAS Machine failed to recognise many Voters in Ajayi Street, Jenta, Adamu, Jenta Makeri polling units to be specific where voters turned out in their numbers.
