The Commander of the Joint Military Task Force in the Southeast Operation Udo Ka, Major General Hassan Dada, has restated his determination to return peace to the Southeast region of Nigeria.
General Dada, who is also the General Officer Commanding, (GOC) 82 Division of the Nigerian Army, Enugu, while addressing the troops on the frontlines during a Sallah lunch held at the 211 Quick Response Ground of the Nigerian Air Force in Owerri, the Imo State capital, said the occasion has created the opportunity to appreciate the officers and men, for their enormous sacrifices in safeguarding the nation.
While urging the troops to sustain the momentum against insurgency in the southeast region, Dada also commended President Tinubu’s support for the Armed Forces, by ensuring that Operation Udo Ka continues to work hard to restore peace in the region.
In the spirit of celebrating Eid-el-Kabir, the Army chief and his team served the troops, as part of strategies to boost the morale of the personnel.
