Nigerian Governors have appealed to Judiciary workers under the auspices of the Judiciary staff union of Nigeria, JUSUN, to call off its ongoing strike as efforts are on to ensure the full implementation of the financial autonomy for state legislature and Judiciary.
Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal made the appeal on behalf of his colleagues on Thursday after leading the Chairman of the States Legislators Conference to a meeting with the Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari at the Presidential Villa Abuja.
He said the Governor’s are totally in support of Financial autonomy for state Legislature and Judiciary.

The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN, had on April 1, 2021, directed its members across the country to shut down all courts on Tuesday, April 6, a directive that has since crippled both court proceedings and commercial activities within the courts’ premises.
