President Bola Tinubu will broadcast to the nation on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 7 am to commemorate this year’s Democracy Day.
A statement issued by the Director of Information in the State House, Abiodun Oladunjoye on Sunday enjoined television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast.

June 12 was declared Nigeria’s Democracy Day in 2018 to commemorate the annulment of the 1993 Presidential election presumably won by the late Moshood Abiola. This year’s Democracy Day will also mark the 30th anniversary of the annulment.
