Contrary to speculations that there will be huge protests in three major areas of Ibadan Famous Mapo hall, Makola and Challenge against bad governance, poor security of life’s and property amongst others everywhere is calm and residents are cautious.
The protest however did not hold as the three strategic locations for the protest were empty without any gathering.
The streets and major roads in the metropolis were relatively empty and shops under lock and keys.

This however might be as a result of the show of force embarked on by the security personel in the state since Friday.
The state police command had also reacted switfly to the speculated protest stating that the force will resist every form of illegal gathering.
This warning and show of force had forced the people to stay back.
