There are 119 new Covid-19 infections in the country as reported by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC. This takes the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 62,111 since the index case was recorded on February 27.
The NCDC data shows that 6 states account for the 119 new Covid-19 cases. These include Lagos-77; FCT-26; Plateau-9; Edo-4; Oyo-2 and Nasarawa-1.
Meanwhile, 106 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the total number of successfully treated cases now 57,571.
There are 2 more Covid-19 related deaths in the country with national death toll put at 1,132 in 36 states and Federal Capital Territory Abuja
