Security operatives deployed at the Federal High Court in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, seat of the trial of the self-acclaimed IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, are denying some journalists and lawyers entry.

The security operatives claim that they are working with a particular list.
Few lawyers and journalists eventually gained access to the courtroom after waiting for hours.

Those also allowed include the former Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuemeka Ezeife, who represents the Igbo, worldwide.
As at the time of this report, Nnamdi Kanu was yet to be in court.
One side of the road had been blocked for motorists, who were asked to ply one way.
