Chelsea has confirmed Liam Rosenior as their new manager on a six-year contract.
The 41-year-old coach replaces Enzo Maresca who left the club on New Year’s Day. Rosenior will be joined by three members of his staff including Khalifa Cisse, Ben Warner and Justin Walker.
In a statement, the club says the focus will “continue to be on player development” and “expectations and ambitions remain high”.
Meanwhile, Rosenior says “to be entrusted with this role means the world to me” and he “will give everything” to bring success to the club. His first match will be against Charlton in the FA Cup on Saturday.
