The Federal High Court sitting in Benin City, the Edo State capital has adjourned sitting till Thursday in an exparte motion seeking to restrain the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC from going ahead with the direct mode of primaries ahead of the governorship election in the state.

The presiding judge, Justice Muhammed Umar ordered that parties in the suit should not proceed with the subject matter within the next 2 days until all the applications are considered and consolidated for hearing on Thursday.
