A Federal high court sitting in Gusau has nullified the People Democratic Party, PDP primary election that produced Dr Dauda Lawal Dare as the Governorship candidate of the party in Zamfara State.
The presiding judge, Justice Aminu Bappa in a judgement on the petition filed by Engineer Shehu Baukaye to challenge the primary election in which Dauda Lawal Dare emerged as a candidate of the PDP in the State.
He orders that a fresh primary election be conducted to produce the Governorship candidate of the party which would face the All Progressives Congress, APC in the 2022 election.

Engineer Shehu Baukaye was one of three aspirants who pulled out from the primary election cited irregularities.
