The government of Ekiti State in South-West Nigeria has announced an extension of the 24-hour curfew imposed in the wake of the violence that followed the hijack of the #EndSARS protests in the State till further notice.
This is contained in a message released by Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, Yinka Oyebode.

Governor Kayode Fayemi approved the extension after the initial hours the curfew was supposed to be in force elapsed.
