The head of civil service of the federation, Folasade Yemi–Esan says only 69, 864 civil servants have been verified by the integrated payroll and personnel information system, IPPIS.
Yemi-Esan who spoke on a wide range of issues during an interaction with media executives also revealed that the office of the head of Federal civil service and three federal ministries have already adopted paperless operations in government’s digitization initiative.
The head of Federal civil service of the federation, Folasade Yemi-Esan is meeting with media executives to kick start the 2023 civil service week.
Folasade used the opportunity to x-ray key pillars in the ongoing reforms in the federal public service, especially on digitization and capacity building.
While responding to questions from some media executives, the head of service of the federation said the gaps associated with the IPPIS have been addressed.
She also revealed that over one point three million workers are on government payroll.

Yemi-Esan also hinted that civil Servants from grade level one to seventeen have been benefitting from various trainings.
On induction of new employees, according to her, will soon commence online.
