The first civilian Governor of Yobe State in North-East Nigeria, Bukar Abba Ibrahim is dead.
In a statement released in Damaturu, the Director of Press, Mamman Mohammed confirmed the death of the former senator at the age of 75 years.

Bukar Abba Ibrahim died in Saudi Arabia following a brief illness and is survived by two wives and 17 children.
