Just In: Group Pushes For 4-Year UTME Validity, To Begin 30-Day JAMB Reform Campaign

A civil rights group in Nigeria, Speakout Africa initiative has fixed June 1 2025 to begin a 30-day campaign for the rejig and reform of management and operations at the joint admissions and matriculations board JAMB , over what it calls “woeful performance at the last ast Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME.

At a briefing in Abuja, the spokesman of the group, Kenneth Eze, said the body is also pushing for a four-year validity period for UTME results

JAMB and its registrar, Professor Is-haq Oloyede, have come under tremendous attack in the last one month, with many calling for his sack, following massive failure in the last UTME.
