A high-powered delegation of the Federal Government has arrived in Zamfara State, North-West Nigeria on condolence visit following recent killing of 58 people in Anka and Bukkuyum LGAs by terrorists.
The delegation sent by President Muhammadu Buhari is being led by the Minister of Defence, Major-General Bashir Magashi (Rtd). Others are Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq; Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi; Inspector-General of Police, Alkali Usman; Director-General National Intelligence Agency, Ambassador Ahmed Rufai and Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.

The leader of the delegation said they are in Zamfara State to condole and assure the people that the Federal Government is aware of the attacks and is on top of the situation.
