More than 60 Israeli nationals were this Sunday evacuated from Nigeria by their home government following the Coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world.
They were airlifted on board an Air Peace flight from the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lagos at about 10:10am.
Immigration officials say Israel had written to the Nigerian Government for permission to evacuate her nationals.

AIT confirmed that Nigerian authorities approved the operation as emergency services following the closure of the country’s air space about a week ago.
It will be recalled that France also recently evacuated 260 of her citizens from Nigeria with the exercise to continue on April 3 and 9.
