The suspension of the strike is contained In a communique at the end of its expanded National Executive Council meeting in Abuja on Thursday, October 31, which was signed by the National Chairman, Kabiru Ado Minjibir and the National Secretary, Martin Egbanubi.

Arising from the meantime, the health workers issued a fresh 7-week timeline, within which the Federal government is expected to implement all items in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) entered, after meetings with Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment officials on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, and another on October 30, 2024 with the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Development.
