The Lagos State Government has discharged 5 Coronavirus patients successfully treated at the Infectious Disease Centre, Yaba Mainland Hospital.
This brings the total number of discharged patients from the Centre to 8.
The patients, who had been quarantined at the isolation centre for weeks appear stable and happy that they are finally whole and allowed to reunite with their families.
They pleaded that their identities should not be revealed but expressed satisfaction over the treatment they received at the Centre

While thanking the Lagos State Government for the support and proactiveness in dealing with the pandemic, they pleaded that the workers at the Centre should be given life insurance.
It would be recalled that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had earlier in a broadcast said that some patients who previously tested positive would be discharged if their confirmatory tests are negative
