Former Kano Governor and serving senator representing Kano Central, Ibrahim Shekarau has formally joined the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP.
The party on it verified Twitter page made the confirmation. Former Defense Minister who is the leader of NNPP and presidential aspirant, Musa Kwankwaso has also confirmed the development on his verified Facebook page.
A grand ceremony for the defection is slated for Wednesday in Kano.
