Delegates from Taraba state could not take part in the election of new national officers of the party due to their late arrival to the venue of the convention in Ibadan

The delegates arrived at about 10pm after voting had already closed

The convention secretary, Senator Ben Obi acknowledged their presence, commending them for making the effort to get to the Lekan Salami stadium, even though they arrive very late
