Auwal Jatau of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has been declared winner of the re-run election in Zaki Federal Constituency of Bauchi State.
He polled 15, 405 votes to defeat his closet rival Tata Umar of the All Progressives Congress, APC who had 15,307 votes.
The results were announced by the INEC Returning Officer, Professor Ahmad Shehu Kutama.
Jatau is a former member of the Bauchi State House of Assembly where he also served as a principal officer including Minority Leader. He was the PDP governorship candidate in the 2015 elections in Bauchi State
