Protesters have stormed the Magistrate Court located at ‘Nomansland’ in Kano in an attempt to stall the arraignment of former commissioner for works Muazu Magaji.
The former commissioner was expected in court on Monday at 11o’clock.
The presence of the protesters has attracted security agencies who have barricaded the court and its environs.

The situation has apparently forced the the court to suspend sitting for now.
The charge, according to the police First Information Report, (FIR) bothers on defamation of character, injurious falsehood and others.
The Kano State Government claims Magaji has been inciting the public against Governor Ganduje and causing public unrest.
