Women in their thousands in Riyom Local Government Area on Wednesday blocked the major entrance leading to Jos, the Plateau State Capital.
The women are protesting the continuous attacks and killings in the communities by suspected herdsmen.

The protest follows the killing of two farmers on Tuesday night in an attack that appears to be the second in three days.
