Nigeria has discharged 183 Covid-19 patients in the last 24 hours bringing the total number of successfully treated cases in the country to 50,951.
At least 13 states have recorded 120 new Covid-19 infections with the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria so far being 59,465.
Rivers with 65 new Covid-19 infections leads the 12 other states with more than half of the total number of 120 new cases recorded in Nigeria in the last 24 hours.
The other states with new Covid-19 cases include FCT-12; Ogun-9; Katsina-8; Anambra-7; Bauchi and Oyo-5 each; Nasarawa-3; Kaduna-2; Kwara, Taraba, Imo and Delta-1 each.
There is no new Covid-19 fatality in Nigeria in the last 24 hours as the national death toll from the pandemic remains 1,113.
