President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem has ordered at least three Election Petitions Tribunals to relocate from their states of jurisdiction to Abuja for conduct of their proceedings.

These include the Ebonyi State Election Petitions Tribunal on Governorship, National and State Houses of Assembly which is relocating from Abakaliki to Abuja for conduct of their proceedings.

Tribunal Secretary, Henry Nyior who made the announcement in Abakaliki says he is “limited as to the question why” decision was taken to relocate from Ebonyi State capital to Abuja.

Nyior says Election Petitions Tribunals in Rivers State and one other state are also relocating to Abuja to begin their proceedings and eventually deliver judgements in matters before them
