Trucks and trailers have blocked the busy Kaduna Eastern bypass.

Ait.live gathered that the blockage is in protest over alleged shooting of the tyres of one of the vehicles by men of the Nigeria Police Force.

The Eastern byepass is the major transit point for travellers coming from the North central, North West and Southern part of the country.

Goods and services are usually delivered through that road to other parts of Nigeria.
The blockade has caused hardship for other road users. There is no response yet from either the Nigerian police or the state government.
