Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, South-East Nigeria has secured the ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC to run for re-election in the November 11, 2023, Governorship election.
Chairman of the APC Governorship Primaries Committee, Williams Kayoda declared Governor Uzodinma was the sole aspirant winner of the party primaries and standard bearer.

He said the direct mode of primary election adopted by the party was successfully conducted in all 305 wards of the 27 local government areas of the State.
