The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Zamfara State, Ahmad Sani is dead.
The Publicity Secretary of the party in the state, Abba Bello, confirmed the death via telephone to ait.live in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital.
He said, Chairman Ahmad Sani was attending a meeting with Ulama Consultative Forum when his body started shivering, and was quickly rushed to a private hospital in Gusau, the state capital, where he was confirmed dead.
He was later taken to the Federal Medical Centre, Gusau, where the doctors also confirmed his death.
The PDP Chairman died at the age of 60.
