This Monday, the Ebonyi State Government House, Abakaliki, was devoid of any sort of visitation particularly by members of the NBA.
There was also no sign of demonstration within Abakaliki, the state capital and its environs by members of the NBA or its sister union, the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN.
Speaking to ait.live through telephone, the state chairman of the Nigeria Bar Association, Ogbonnaya Okorie said though there may not be any traditional physical protest, the state council is in full support of the agitation.
However, since the commencement of the nationwide strike by members of JUSUN, about two weeks ago, compliance in the state has been low as courts are still open and in operations.
