The Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Uba Sani, has been declared the winner of the All Progressives Congress, APC gubernatorial primary election in Kaduna State.
Uba Sani polled 1,149 votes out of the 1,235 total votes to defeat his closest rival, Bashir Abubakar, who polled 37 votes.
Sani Sha’aban came third having polled 10 votes.
The Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Barrister Alajuna Henry, who declared the result, said that Senator Uba Sani met the guideline for the APC primary election, and is declared the winner.
Senator Uba Sani appreciated the delegates for voting overwhelming and promised to reach out to those who contested with him.
The serving senator sees his emergence as a victory for democracy and called on members of the APC to work towards achieving victory in the general elections in 2023.
