Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has expressed condolences to the families of victims who tragically lost their lives in a fatal motor accident during the Eid-Maulud celebrations.
According to a statement from the Kashim Ibrahim House, the accident occurred in Saminaka, Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State, claiming the lives of 40 individuals.
An additional 48 people are said to have sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment.
Governor Sani conveyed his heartfelt sympathy and has instructed the Commissioner of Health to ensure the injured receive proper care.
The State government also pledged to provide support to the families of the deceased to help ease their sufferings.
