Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, (MOU) with Huawei Technologies Company, to advance the Kaduna Smart City project.
The signing ceremony took place at Huawei’s office in Beijing, China, and was witnessed by President Bola Tinubu, as well as other governors, ministers, and senior government officials.
The initiative aims to enhance security, efficiency, and transparency in public services, improve city management and boost competitiveness.
It also seeks to attract talent and investments, ultimately striving to create a safer and smarter Kaduna State.
The partnership between the Kaduna State Government and Huawei will provide comprehensive solutions, and technical support in key areas, including security, education, healthcare, renewable energy, and more.
To ensure effective implementation, a joint committee will be established by the Kaduna State Government and Huawei, to outline the implementation plan, funding arrangements, and technology deployment.
