The Kaduna State Government says persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups in the state will benefit more from the first phase of palliatives to be distributed to 210,000 households in the state.
Governor Uba Sani said this while briefing newsmen on the outcome of the stakeholders’ meeting, after receiving the first tranche of two billion naira for palliative care, from the Federal.

The stakeholders’ meeting was attended by government officials, representatives of trade unions, market and transport unions, and selected private sector operators to discuss the utilisation of the two billion naira palliative fund received from the Federal Government.
The state government subsequently approved three phases of palliatives -food distribution to 210,000 households, procurement of buses to subsidise transportation costs and the revival of moribund locomotive train services across the state.
The governor warned that anyone found guilty of diversion during the palliative distribution will face the full wrath of the law
