Kaduna State Governor,Uba Sani, has signed an Executive Order on financial inclusion for one million poor and vulnerable persons across the 23 local government areas of the state.
The aim is to address the financial exclusion of underserved citizens in rural areas, to ensure their maximum benefit from federal and state government’s social programmes.

In furtherance of this initiative, the Kaduna State Government, through the Traders Union, held a one-day workshop, to enlighten the public by providing inclusive digital financial literacy and services, targeting rural and urban traders in the state and enable Kaduna state meet the 95 per cent Central Bank of Nigeria financial inclusion target, by the end of January 2024.
The state government has always said it remains committed to meeting the needs of the poor and vulnerable, by providing them with financial skills to enable them make sound financial and investment decisions.
