Kannywood actress, Sadiya Haruna, has pleaded guilty to a one count charge of obscenity and indecent act.
Authorities at the Kano state judiciary said Kannywood actress, Sadiya Haruna was convicted for violating session 355 of the sharia penal code law 2000.
Spokesperson of the Kano State judiciary, Baba Jibo in an interview with ait,live said the actress was brought on first information report for consistently posting indecent videos in which she was dancing seductively and making sexual comments on her social media handles.

He said the presiding judge, Justice Ali Jibril Danzaki thereafter convicted her and ordered her to be attending a Darul Hadith Islamiyya session at Tudun Yola Quarters for a period of six months under the supervision of the officials of Hisbah
